About the Author
Author/Publisher, Kerry Johnson, has been smitten with horses since the first time she and her brothers and sisters scrambled aboard an open carriage in Central Park, New York, when she was just a little girl. She and husband, Barry, would later settle on a small ranch in coastal Carolina to raise their family. Today, as grandparents, their lives continue to abound with the bustling joys of children. Carriage Horse Tales are the happy result of Kerry’s great respect for history and the people who came before, her proximity to the burgeoning talent drawn to Savannah College of Art and Design, her affinity for horses, her gift for storytelling and her delighted appreciation for the natural curiosity of children.
About the Illustrator
Sienna Haralson infuses each illustration with her enchanting vision, remarkable talent, and infectious love for horses. She is soon to earn her MFA in Sequential Art from the world-renowned Savannah College of Art and Design.
